O! God of Journey! Lord of all Life!

Help us to be the people who will carry Your Light

into the brokenness and pain of the world.

Send Angels of Courage, Lord,

to accompany us on life's journey,

to let go of prejudices and fears;

to enter each others differences,

and find common ground.

Lead us to Your presence in the confusion,

in the stillness, in the darkness.

Rescue us from prisons, plagues,

tombs and closets

to find freedom in you as servants

rather than slaves

in a place of prayer where all will be comfortable;

where no one need be anonymous,

and unconditional love is the way of life.

Help us to walk in each other's shoes.

For those who fear the world getting worse,

let us be their assurance that we are getting better;

giving hope to all... and a safe place of peace

in which to raise our children.

Show us how to comfort and cradle,

nourish and love, leaving no one forgotten.

Let future generations receive our gift

of changing the world by turning our hearts to You,

God, and let our hearts be homes for all.

Come now, Lord of Love,

with our robes for the journey!

Wrap us in garments of compromise,

Forgiveness, and tolerance.

Cover us with cooperation, respect and patience.

Clothe us in holiness, humility and trust.

Come, and walk with us, dressed in our new robes;

each carrying Your Light... walking together as one.
