I am The Cup of Blood

Held out to all who thirst

Good Friday Blood

Crucifixion Blood

Foretold in prophets’ verse

I hold the Blood of Christ

I am The Cup divine

Sacred essence

Holy Presence

Transformed to blood from wine

I am your cup of courage

Your gift of sacrifice

Your life of pain

Your need to refrain

Your highest power of life

I am your cup of faith

Reminder of restraint

Your sacrifice

Your grateful eyes

Your silent nod of thanks

I am your cup of grace

I’m the reason you refrain

My Blood for you

My covenant true

To lift you from your pain

I am your cup completely

For you I am lifted up

In memory of me

For all to see

The miracle of my love.

I’m your Cup of Sobriety

The reason you pass by

Take a spiritual sip

My love on your lips

Gratitude in your eyes

I am The Cup of Blood

Resurrection blood
